Oxlade claims Ghanaians have shown him love than Nigerians

Oxlade also clarified his earlier posts on X where he said some “OGs” were boycotting and blackmailing him

Nigerian Afrobeat star, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman better known as Oxlade has claimed that he has received more love from his Ghanaian fans than his compatriots.

The ‘Waiting For You’ crooner made this known while justifying his decision to feature Ghanaian hip-hop legend, Sarkodie on his debut album, “Oxlade from Africa.”

Speaking during his latest interview, the singer also clarified his earlier posts on X where he said some “OGs” were boycotting and blackmailing him.

He went on to explain that the trending posts were triggered by his dislike of people trying to play god in the Nigeria music industry.

Oxlade said, “If I’m being honest with you, Ghana has shown me more love than Nigeria.

“I hate the mindset of people trying to play god. When they feel like they can determine your trajectory. Sometimes they feel I see them outside and I don’t greet them well.”
