Osimhen came 4th behind Napoli teammate, Kalidou Koulibaly, who was named the best player, Dusan Vlahovic in 2nd, and Ciro Immobile in 3rd

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen narrowly missed being ranked as one of the best three players for the 2021/2022 season in Italian Serie A, coming fourth behind Ciro Immobile of Lazio.
The Napoli striker has scored 12 times in 21 league matches this season, raking in four goal assists during the period.
According to the ranking published by the British magazine, FourFourTwo, the 23-year-old Nigerian came fourth despite missing out on action for about two months after sustaining a facial injury.

Osimhen’s Napoli teammate and African compatriot, Kalidou Koulibaly, was named as the best player in the Serie A, he was followed by new Juventus recruit, Dusan Vlahovic, while Lazio and Italian midfielder, Ciro Immobile came third.
The Nigerian however, beat AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez in 5th, Lazio’s Sergei Milinkovic-Savic, Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi, Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic, Roma’s Tammy Abraham, and AC Milan’s goalkeeper Mike Maignan who occupied the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th positions respectively.
Meanwhile, Osimhen recently won Serie A’s Player of the Month Award for March, even after his side’s shock 2-3 home loss to Fiorentina on Sunday.
