Osimhen whose goals have been immense for Napoli, has found the net 23 times in Serie A and is in line to win the top-scorer award

Super Eagle strikers, Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman have been shortlisted for the Serie A team of the season.
This is an acknowledgment of their contributions to their respective clubs and the superb performances they have put up so far in the 2022/2023 season.
Osimhen’s crucial equaliser against Udinese earned his club, Napoli their third Scudetto in history and their first title in 33 years.

The Nigerian international has scored 23 league goals in Serie A this season and is in line to win the top scorer award.
Lookman, who joined Atalanta from Bundesliga outfit, RB Leipzig, at the beginning of the season, has also settled down and made a desirable impact at the Italian club.
Despite being hampered by injury in the latter part of the season, the winger has found the net a total of 13 times and provided four assists in 28 league appearances.
Apart from Osimhen and Lookman, nine other Serie A forwards were also nominated for the team of the season.
Meanwhile, Nigerian-born Udinese defender, Destiny Udogie, who plays in the left-back position, was also nominated in the Team of the Season.
