It also means Osimhen has not added one more prize to the two individual awards he won during the 2022/2023 campaign.

He had previously scooped the top scorer award in Serie A and was named the best striker in the top-flight.

Apart from these, the Napoli hitman is also in line to add the African Player of the Year award to his cabinet.

Meanwhile, on the same night, ace Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy, won the “Best International Act” award at the 2023 BET Awards held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, United States.

The ‘Last Last’ crooner defeated French singer, Aya Nakamura, British superstars, Ella Mai, Stormzy, and Central Cee, and his compatriot, Ayra Starr to win the prize.

With the victory, he has now won the BET Awards’ “Best International Act” category for the fourth time.

Prior to this, he had won the award held to celebrate achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television and movies in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
