Super Falcons and Barcelona Femeni striker, Asisat Oshoala has lent her voice to the call for an end to the societal pressure put on those who decided against having kids of their own.
The 28-year-old football star frowned at the way such individuals are called out and wondered why people get castigated for choosing not to have children.
Oshoala wrote on Twitter: “I will never understand why y’all curse out people for not wanting to have kids…..Like, it’s their decision, let them be!!! We all see life differently, biko.”

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons striker was on target when Barcelona Femeni recorded an 8-0 victory against Alaves in a Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino fixture played on Sunday.
Oshoala was handed a start by Head Coach Jonatan Giráldez and would find the back of the net as her club annihilated Alaves in the league match.
Barcelona went in front as early as the eighth minute when Clàudia Pina converted a ball by Irene Paredes.
