Barcelona and Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, has praised her compatriot, Victor Osimhen, after emerging as CAF’s 2023 Men Footballer of the Year on Monday night in Morocco.
The Napoli forward beat the likes of Morocco’s World Cup star, Achraf Hakimi and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah to clinch the award.
Osimhen while receiving the prize attributed his success at the CAF Awards to the role played by Super Eagles legend and former Golden Eaglets coach, Emmanuel Amunike.
He said: “I want to appreciate Emmanuel Amunike, without him, I will not be here.”
