Nigerian athletes participating at the ongoing 2022 World Athletics Championship in Oregon continues to bite the dust with their performance.
The Nigeria quartet of Samson Nathaniel, Patience Okon-George, Dubem Amene and Imaobong Nse Uko took part in the final of the 4×400 meters mixed relay final at the Oregon2022 event.
They arrived in Oregon earlier in the day and they took part in two races back to back.
They finished in the 5th position in heat 1 and ended up qualifying for the final.

In the final race, Team Nigeria finished in distant 6th position with the Dominican Republic, Netherlands and the United States clinching the gold, silver and bronze respectively.

The American-based athlete in group A threw a 20.87m to finished 4th and reached the final.
His compatriot, Dotun Ogundeji missed the final after he threw 18.35m
