Ooni’s 3rd wife, Tobi Phillips says she’s adjusting to new role 

Tobi Phillips made the statement on her Instagram page, in what appears to be her first official statement as a Queen

Queen Tobi Phillips, the third wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has finally broken her silence since tying the knot with the highly revered Yoruba monarch.

The latest Queen took to her Instagram page to share stunning photos of herself and marked it with her first official statement. 

In the post, Queen Tobi Phillips appreciated the public for their patience during her wedding to Ooni, she also thanked everyone for their wishes.

She went on to say she is trying to adjust to her new role as the wife of a king, adding that change is the only constant thing in life.

“Grace, Gratitude, n Glamour. Change is inevitable…. Thank you so much for your patience and well wishes… We transitioning” she wrote. 

Ooni of Ife took his ex-beauty queen lover, Tobi Phillips as his third wife on Sunday, October 9th.

Shortly after that, videos from the low-key wedding ceremony made the rounds on the internet and the latest wife was seen in traditional white attire as she received blessings from her family.

Although the Ooni wasn’t seen in the now-viral video, he sent his guards, chief, and royal staff to grace the occasion. 

Tobi Phillips was a beauty queen who won the World Miss University Africa (WMUA) in 2012.

Before her marriage to the Ooni of Ife, she ran a popular fashion label QTP Luxury Fashion and has been a 3D artist since 2018.

The beautiful new queen is from Okitipupa in Ondo State and she was reported to have been dating the monarch for over six years.
