The Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBEB) is set to conduct physical interviews for prospective teachers seeking employment in public primary schools across the state.
The exercise will commence tomorrow in the northern senatorial district, covering six local government areas.
According to the Board’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Prince Bolu Diesel AJIJO, the interviews will be conducted by a panel of seasoned bureaucrats from relevant ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).
The panel includes representatives from the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), and Education Secretaries.
Speaking during the inauguration of the Physical Interviews Committee, the Chairman of ODSUBEB, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, charged the members to recommend the best candidates for employment.
He emphasized the importance of primary education as the foundation of development and the need for qualified teachers to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
The Permanent Secretary, Chief ‘Dele Akinnagbe, enjoined all applicants to arrive early and be orderly at the designated venues.
The Board has put in place all necessary logistics to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
The interview schedule is as follows:
– Tuesday: Northern Senatorial District (six local government areas)
– Wednesday: Ondo South Senatorial District
– Thursday: Ondo Central Senatorial District
The physical interviews will be held at the venues chosen in each of the nine federal constituencies that make up the state which are already in public domain.
