The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ondo State Chapter has expressed shock over demise of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The party stated that it receives with deep sense of loss, the news of the death of the Governor which the sad event occured in the early hours of today, 27th December, 2023.
In a statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity, PDP Ondo State, Leye Igbabo noted that it was a known fact that, any man born of a woman is of few days, the untimely departure of the governor is nonetheless, sadenning and surely, leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
“Our party commiserates with the people of Ondo State on the demise of a Governor who displayed courage when it mattered most. Ondo State has lost a man who did not pretend about his views on issues.
“We will no doubt, sorely miss the Governor. We pray for the repose of his soul and God’s strength for the entire people of Ondo State to bear this unfortunate incident”, it added.
