Ondo Hausa Fulani community endorses Akeredolu

Non- Indigenes in Ondo North Senatorial District of Ondo state have been urged to troop out enmass on October 10 and cast their votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

A Chieftain of the party and Convener of Democratic Networks for Aketi (DNA), Rear Admiral Samuel Ilesanmi Alade make the call while addressing a gathering of Hausa/Fulani in the area at  his home town, Oyin Akoko.

Alade said that Akeredolu deserves to be re-elected for a second term in office as a result of his sterling performance across all sectors of the state.

His words: “I want to appeal to you all, especially non indigenes in this area to troop out en mass on the 10th of this month and cast their votes for the APC.

He further solicited for their votes in the remaining six local government in Ondo North Senatorial District.

The leadership of the Fulani in the North Senatorial District were led by the trio of Alhaji Abu Dogo, Alhaji Usman Tafiu and Mohammed Audu, the National Treasurer, National Assistant PRO and Member of MIYETTI Allah respectively.

Alade, however, assured the Fulani leaders of the state’s government commitment in providing portable drinking water for everyone irrespective of their tribe.

He told them to consider their request of provision of portable water done once Governor Akeredolu is reelected.

They obliged and promised that their support for Akeredolu is non negotiable.

Similarly, on the same day, the leadership of Hausa community in Akoko Northwest paid a visit to Rear Admiral Alade at his residence to express their total support for the re-election of Governor Akeredolu.

He assured the leaders that everything that was promised earlier by the party would be fulfilled as the party under the new campaign council will ensure fulfillment of all outstanding pledges
