By Julius Alabi, Akure

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Sunday expelled the lawmaker representing the constituency in the House of Assembly, Hon Success Taiwo Torukerijoh, for alleged anti-party activities and misrepresentation of the party at the Assembly

They also insisted that the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, must resign his position since he has defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The leaders at a meeting held at Igbekebo, the local government headquarters, criticised Mr. Ajayi for refusing to vacate office saying that Agboola has no reason to castigate the party that brought him to office.

The state deputy chairman of the APC,  Agabra Ikoto Atili, who presided over the meeting said their decision would bring peace and unity to the party in the area.

The meeting was attended  by notable leaders of the party  including the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation,  Donald Ojogo, Deputy Chief of Staff,  Jimi Kuforiji, among others.

The motions were moved by Hon Richard Omosehin and seconded jointly by Ojogo and Hon Corporal Nanaopiri.
