Ondo 2020: APC chieftain warns youths against violence, thuggery

Youths in Ondo state have been advised to shun violence and thuggery ahead of Saturday Governorship election in the state.


The call was made yesterday by a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Rear Admiral Samuel Ilesanmi Alade at Oyin Akoko when he met with representatives of the youths in Akoko North West Local Government Area of the state.

Alade  advised them that they should shun any act of thuggery saying that there must be peaceful Election in the state.


“Let me say here that violence does  not bring out good thing that is why i am saying that you should not allow yourself to be used to perpetrate violence”, he said.


Also, the  State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Alhaji Rasheed Badmus while contributing said they must shun all forms of violence and shun all forms of hate speeches that will overheat the polity.

 
“I want you to educate others as to why they should exercise their civic rights without engaging in any form of violence or allow themselves to be pushed into violence” he stressed.
