Bayo Onanuga, the newly appointed Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally reacted to his appointment.
TheNiche had earlier reported that the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement released to newsmen on Friday, announced the appointment of Onanuga to the post.
He also named Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu as the Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation to the president.
Reacting to his appointment via his X handle, now Twitter, Onanuga accepted the role given to him by Mr President with immediate effect.

He went on to appreciate the number one citizen for the confidence reposed in him, while also thanking fellow Nigerians for their prayers.
Speaking via his social media page, Onanuga tweeted: “I will henceforth serve as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s special adviser on information and strategy, with immediate effect.
“I thank the President for his confidence in me. I thank fellow Nigerians who have put me in their prayers and who believe the cap of the new job fits me.”
Prior to his latest appointment, Onanuga, a veteran journalist was the spokesperson for the defunct Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign team.
