Omokri, despite praising Tinubu for his actions, however, prayed that the judiciary will nullify his election and enthrone Atiku

Nigerian author, activist and social media influencer, Reno Omokri, Reno has praised President Bola Tinubu for the way he has handled things so far, saying he outperformed the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari.
He, however, prayed that the judiciary will eventually nullify Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election and enthrone the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Omokri, a staunch Atiku ally, made these remarks via his verified Twitter handle, where he said the former Lagos State governor hit the ground running after his inauguration.
He applauded the new president for his bold statement on subsidy removal and meeting the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele and the Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari, the same day he assumed office.

Taking to his social media page, Omokri noted that, unlike his predecessor, Tinubu started work immediately after he was sworn in.
He tweeted: “Making a bold statement on subsidy removal and backing it up with action. Meeting Godwin Emefiele, then Mele Kyari.
“Making a string of appointments. Asserting his authority over the DSS in their face-off with the EFCC.
“Tinubu, unlike Buhari, has hit the ground running. I sincerely pray that our petition will succeed and President Tinubu’s election will be nullified.
“But be that as it may, I must commend the actions of his first 24 hours in office.”
