Mrs Oluchi Chimobi Agha, the mother of the four children who went missing in Umuahia, Abia state capital on Tuesday said life had not been the same for her and her husband since their kids were taken away to an unknown destination by a tricycle operator, popularly known as Keke NAPEP.
Oluchi, who made this known while receiving the Chairman of Umuahia North LGA, Victor Ikeji at the family’s residence in Umuagu Ibeku, broke down in tears while narrating how her kids disappeared on their way to school.
TheNiche had earlier reported that four pupils of Great Ambassadors School in Umuahia, who are from the same parents were declared missing after leaving home for school on November 27.
Their father, Chimaobi Agah, later cried out for public help and also pleaded with the Abia government and the police to come to their rescue.
He narrated; “She (his wife) paid a Keke (tricycle) rider to take them to school. In the afternoon, when the school was supposed to dismiss, they did not return home, and my wife went to their school to look for them.”
