Indigenous rapper and songwriter,
Oladipupo Oladimeji, better known as Oladips has retraced his step by apologising to ace singer, Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid, while berating fellow rappers in the country for the lack of love among them.
Wizkid, during a recent interview with 10 magazine, applauded the growth of his genre of music, Afrobeats and labelled rap music as “boring” and “dead’.
While some musicians felt the “Essence” crooner was misquoted, other artistes such as Oladips and MI were disappointed and criticized him for making such remarks.

However, taking to his Twitter handle, Oladips apologised to Wizkid for his initial comment and went on to call out veteran rappers, Olamide and Reminisce, whom he claimed stopped relating with him at some point.
According to him, the lack of love among the rap artistes is visible because upcoming rappers don’t get similar support their Afrobeats counterparts get from the likes of Davido and Wizkid.
He wrote, “@serikiomoowo Did His Concert Yesterday Him No Call Me, Him & His Manager Re My Egbon 4 Industry Normal! We Even Did A Song Togeda! Apparently, He Invited @IamReminisce & Wud’nt Want A Clash! Yo F.C My Bad, I Didn’t Get My Priorities Right, Wiz Is Not D Problem! D Problem Is More Inward.”
