The match, which will take place at Onikan Stadium in Lagos on Sunday, is expected to pit the ex-Super Eagles stars against a selected side, Team Asiwaju.

While speaking with journalists on Monday ahead of the game, the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, Umar Ibrahim, said the former players mentioned earlier have confirmed their participation.

He also said the football game was organised by the pro-Tinubu group in collaboration with the Lagos State Government.

Ibrahim added that the 13th Bola Tinubu Colloquium would be held simultaneously across the six geo-political zones of the country after the novelty match.

Tinubu, the national leader of the ruling APC, in January 2022, declared to run for the Presidency in 2023.
