The fastest sprinter in the boys category Ojie Marvelous ran away with the boys’ 100m gold at the Eyoto Sports AthIetics Competition in Benin, he returned11.56s ahead of Usiada Ovie with 11.79s for silver, while Unoma Nelson clocked 12.09s for bronze
Moments after in the girls category Joshua Joy outpaced Omosivwe Treasure to crown the girls’ 100m at the Championship, she ran a time of 12.53s for the victory. While Treasure Omosivwe clocked 12.62s for silver, while Emmanuel Augustina went away with bronze in 13.09s.
In the middle distance race, Goodluck Michael of Asoro Grammar School won the boys’ 1500m, he clocked a time of 4:55.09, beating his closest rival, Onuoha Chisom who got 2nd in 5:05.51 (ht), while Anthony Samuel went away with 3rd in a time of 5:17.81.
