Head coach of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, John Obuh has expressed satisfaction at his first win with the club last Sunday and promised that there would be improvement after assessing the contributions of the players.
According to him, every game would be tackled as a special task and urged the fans to continue to support the team.
He said: “It was a sweet victory and I want to thank the players and the other members of the technical crew for the support and cooperation.
“The task at hand is demanding and it is achievable with the support of all and sundry. We will surely deliver if all hands and on deck.
Meanwhile, the club has declared Sani Kaita missing.
Kaita, an ex-Super Eagles player, had joined the club on a three-year deal in May.
Obuh said the development was the reason why he could not successfully execute their match against the Shooting Stars of Ibadan last Sunday because the player was not around.
According to him, the last time he knew anything about Kaita was when they went to Port Harcourt for the match against Heartland of Owerri on July 1.
He threatened that the club would report to the League Management Company (LMC) if the player failed to make himself available.
Kaita , a former Enyimba International midfielder, has played for Sparta Rotterdam (Holland), Monaco (France), Olympiakos (Greece), Lokomotiv Moscow, Kuban Krasnodar, FC Alaniya, Tavriya (all in Russia) and Metalist Khakiv (Ukraine).
