. Defends Jonathan
Ijaw leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has condemned the Nigeria’s former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, for saying that Goodluck Jonathan, the immediate past president, lacked trust and honour.
He accused Obasanjo of initiating corruption in the country and
lacked the honour to criticise anyone.
Chief Clark was reacting to Obasanjo’s comment on Segun Adeniyi’s new book, Against the Run of Play. In the book, Obasanjo was quoted as saying he did not support Jonathan’s re-election bid in 2015 not only because it was against what he had earlier made but because he was incapable of holding on to the presidency for seeing the world through the prism of the Ijaw nation.
