Vice-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede has praised singer, Innocent Idibia, a.k.a Tuface for his philanthropic gesture towards the citadel of learning.
The ace musician recently donated an ultra-modern recording studio to the university as part of his corporate social responsibilities.
The photos and videos from the event were shared on the official Instagram page of the singer’s music record label, Hypertek Digital.

In the video, which has since gone viral, the ‘African Queen’ sing was well received by the university’s management and students, who rendered their school anthem with him in their midst.
The VC of OAU, while appreciating the gesture, said the university can be said to have the best recording studio in Nigeria among tertiary institutions.
He said: “As far as the Nigerian university system is concerned. So we can proudly say that today, we have the best recording studio in the country of any university. And that is because of your magnanimity and philanthropic gesture.”
In the video, Prof Ogunbodede was seen standing right next to the singer with others standing behind them during the commissioning of the studio.
