NPA boss salutes Sambo, Adegoroye on appointments

NPA boss said the wealth of experience of Muazu Sambo and Ademola Adegoroye, and their track record of excellent performance, will undoubtedly add fillip to the ongoing efforts at improving efficiency and advancing the frontiers of trade facilitation.

The hierarchy of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), led by the managing director Mohammed Bello-Koko, has congratulated Alhaji Muazu Sambo on his appointment as the minister of Transportation by President Muhammadu Buhari.

President Buhari, on Wednesday, approved the appointment of Muazu Sambo and Ademola Adegoroye, as the minister of Transportation and State for Transportation respectively.

Muazu Sambo was appointed to replace Rotimi Amaechi while Adegoroye was appointed to replace Sen. Gbemisola Saraki.

However, in a statement made available to thenicheng.com, the NPA boss said their wealth of experience and track record of excellent performance will undoubtedly add fillip to the ongoing efforts at improving efficiency and advancing the frontiers of trade facilitation.

The NPA MD said: “Their wealth of experience and track record of excellent performance will undoubtedly add fillip to the ongoing efforts at improving efficiency and advancing the frontiers of trade facilitation.

He was of the opinion that the team will be well oiled to ensure that transportation in Nigeria flows through the technological patterns.
