This is sequel to the organisation’s decision and its determination to reinvigorate the authority’s operations and the re-engineering the process of dissemination of information towards enhancement of an efficient service delivery.
The new image maker who hailed from Kogi State, Okene Local Government Area, holds a Master of Project Management (MPM), a Post Graduate Diploma in Shipping Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
According to a statement signed by the authority’s Assistant General Manager, Corporate and Straategic Communications, Mallam Isah Suwaid said that the new spokesman belongs to various professional bodies, which include; Member Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Fellow of the Institute of Shipping Technology (FIST), Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), also a Certified Public- Private Partnership specialist.
Before his new appointment, he has served in several capacities even more than three decades of hard work, diligence, dedication and commitment with the Nigerian Ports Authority. He was the General Manager (Land & Assets Administration) as well as the Engineering Maintenance Department.
To add to his professional attainment, in recent times, attended International and Local Training Programmes, some of which are; Project Management Course, (Dubai), Port Master Plan (Belgium), Capacity Building in Leadership for Development and Public Good (Kansas State University USA, IP3 Washington DC Labour Relations and collective bargaining, Lagos, Corporate Image and Personality Development, Lagos and Managing and Leading Strategic Change amongst several others.
He served as Assistant General Manager Procurement and Managing Director, Seaview Properties limited, a Subsidiary of NPA, while working at the Tincan Island Port, holds the position of Chief Port Engineer to mention but a few. He is happily
