The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, dug in on Monday when he insisted that he will not resign his position because there was no reason to do so.

The embattled chairman said in a short statement from his media office that nothing so far warrants his resignation from the chairmanship of the country’s main opposition party.

The statement signed by his media ade, Ike Abonyi, said those calling for his resignation were a tiny minority.

He also challenged his opponents to come clean and tell party members across the country the offense he committed that should warrant his why resignation.

Secondus said he will remain focused and committed to the ideals of the PDP which he swore to protect and defend upon his election 44 months ago.
