Nollywood stars grace Yomi Fabiyi son’s naming, Iyabo Ojo missing

Iyabo Ojo and Yomi Fabiyi fell out after the latter publicly defended their colleague, Baba Ijesha when he was accused of assaulting a minor

The rift between Nollywood stars, Iyabo Ojo and Yomi Fabiyi was once again brought to the fore when the former was conspicuously missing from the naming ceremony of the latter. 

Actor Yomi Fabiyi on Thursday, February 9, 2022, welcomed a baby son with his baby mama and later took to his Instagram page to share the good news and expressed gratitude to God.  

He wrote: “To God be the glory, we just delivered a BOUNCING BABY BOY. I thank God almighty, doctors, my parents (both sides) and mummy Toyin Afolayan @lola_idije1959, friends, neighbours for every support all through. 

“Dear Mum, I hope you are happy wherever you are now. You are a grandmother again.”

At the naming ceremony of his son which took place recently, the controversial movie producer hosted several top Nollywood celebrities who wore the signature white and gold colours for the event.

The videos of the colorful and well organised event later made the rounds on social media and there was a larger turnout of who is who in Nollywood, especially the Yoruba movie industry.  

Veteran actor Jide Kosoko and his actress daughter, Sola Kosoko were in attendance, while Yomi Fabiyi’s baby mama was also seen taking photos with guests and well-wishers. 

Other stars who were present at the naming ceremony include Kemi Afolabi, Ireti Osayemi, Jide Awobona, Iya Ereko, Elesho, and a host of others.  

Gospel music star, Tope Alabi, who was also present at the occasion thrilled guests with her performance while her backup singers also added colour to the event. 

However, top Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo started away from the party and her absence has sent tongues wagging as several social media users began to question her whereabouts.
