Kanu in handcuffs

Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been arrested barely two days after he led his followers in prayer against ‘Biafra’ enemies.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Federal Government said that it has rearrested Kanu who jumped bail while on trial in Nigeria.

Only two days ago, Kanu, who says he professes Judaism, announced on Day 27 of a marathon prayer of the pro-secessionist group, which is for enemies of Biafra to crumble.

“Day 27 of our prayer from the book of Psalms chapter 27 as divinely mandated,” he tweeted.

He then quoted the Bible. “Extract: Psalm 27:2 ‘When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, come upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumble and fell.’ Iseee.”

Kanu’s last tweet was yesterday when he quoted a report in Nigerian newspapers about ISWAP overruning a military base in Borno.

Kanu wondered why soldiers were terrorizing ‘Biafra land’ when their colleagues in Borno are being overrun.

Already, his supporters are spitting fire, saying there would be trouble if anything happens to Kanu.
