Quarter miler (400m) from Anambra State Johnson Chidera Nnamani went under 47secs for the first time last year, racing to a then PB of 46.97secs.

Ironically, Nnamani’s name was mistakenly omitted from the starters list for the finals A race, but for
the timely intervention of team coordinator popularity known as Chi-Boy, Nnamani would have missed the.race.

Before the 400m finals, the athlete had gone to relax among his peers obvious that he would not run, until a timely announcement brought him back to the tracks.
