Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola on Tuesday continued his inter-agency engagement by receiving briefings from the heads of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC.)
After listening to their submissions, he promised to look into some of the issues impeding their smooth operations with relevant agencies of the government.
He also reiterated the need for effective collaboration among agencies within our Ministry so as to realise the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for the sector.
In attendance was the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shipper’s Council , Emmanuel Jime and Managing Director , NIWA, Chief George Moghalu.
Others are Permanent Secretary of the Ministry , Mrs. Magladene Ajani, Cajetan Agu from the council etc
