BBNaija star, Nina Ivy, has advised disgruntled Nigerians living abroad to embraced either embrace the culture over there or return home

Ex-BBNaija season 3 housemate Nina Onyenobi, better known as Nina Ivy, has asked Nigerians living abroad, who cannot comply with the norms over there, to do the needful by returning home.
She conveyed this, via her Instagram page on Monday night while chastising Nigerians in the diaspora who are discouraging those who are planning to relocate from the country.
Nina Ivy, who left the country and relocated to the United States after participating in the third edition of the BBNaija reality show, wondered why these Nigerians are trying so hard to discourage their fellow citizens from seeking greener pastures.

The 26-year-old went on to say that if they are convinced that life out there is more relish than living in Nigerian, they should leave the snow and stop paying the taxes abroad and return to Nigeria so that others can go.
Nina wrote, “I don’t understand why people abroad would be trying so hard to make it look like it’s a struggle living out here and then trying to discourage other people from relocating.
“If life is that hard out here or if you don’t like the snow so much and all the taxes you pay out here, go back to your country and let others come.
“Please let us hear the word (sic). Enough of all that nonsense.”
Meanwhile, Nina Ivy, who became a mother after leaving BBNaija in an interview in 2020 defended her decision to fall in love with Miracle on the show, insisting it was involuntary and out of her control.
She also argued that why men on the show are not judged, women are made scapegoats and slut shamed for falling in love while on the show.
In her words: “One cannot control love, so there is nothing unusual if housemates fall in love in the house. If it blossoms, it can even lead to marriage.
“Relationships on the reality show should not be seen as fake. I don’t think anyone should be criticised for having a romantic relationship on the show. But, we live in a man’s world where women are judged harshly. If the woman is slut-shamed, the man should also be treated the same way.”
