.Says it’s a rigging tactics to hold on to power

Despite the clarifications made by the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC}, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, former Presidential candidate of National Conscience Party {NCP) in the 2015 elections, Engineer Martins Onovo has said that Nigerians were yet to be told the real reasons the election was postponed.Onovo said what was happening is a strategy to perfect the rigging plan of the cabal of 3 Nigerians and their accolades ruling Nigeria.He said the plan was a continuation of the desperation to continue the hold on power by the powers that be.But Onovo warned that the plan would fail as Nigerians have been mobilized to resist it.“Nigerians are yet to be told the real reasons for the postponement. It is simply a strategy to hold on to power by the cabal of 3 Nigerians and their accolades. The first lady, Aisha Buhari has already told Nigerians how this country is ran and we know them.“What we are witnessing is the desperation to hold on to power. But we will resist it because God is already against it, so they will fail. We will confront them strategically, spiritually, politically, by all means possible and we will defeat them. This I know because this evil cannot prevail” Onovo assured.According to him “They have destroyed our national security, attacked the judiciary, attacked the constitution, destroyed national institutions and now out to hijack the election”.Nigerians have continued to express apprehension on the postponement of the presidential and National Assembly elections earlier scheduled for February 16 to now hold on February 23, while the governorship, state houses of assembly and Federal Capital Territory Area Council polls is now slated for March as against March 2.
