Nicki Minaj was asked if she had any connection with Nigeria’s president-elect, Tinubu after sharing a post about corn online

Trinidadian-born rapper, singer and songwriter, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, better known as Nicki Minaj experienced some awkward moments on social media after she posted a corn emoji.
Nigerians on microblogging platform, Twitter, after the post took on the United States based singer, demanding to know if she has any connection with the country’s president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Prior to the development, Tinubu had stirred controversy, when he said he would curb unemployment among youth by employing 50 million of them into the military, feeding them with corn.
Leading the bandwagon on Twitter was a user who asked the “Anaconda” crooner: “Them don share corn reach your side?”

Other Nigerians also trooped to Nicki’s comment section to aim jabs at her after making the social media post.
A Twitter user, identified as rich_hommie_yslimm wrote: “Na popcorn she been get for mind she actually deleted the tweet.”
Another internet user, bkleuwuo tweeted: “Agbado reach your side.”
osinachi_offical added: “U guy’s being doing wonders.”
Another netizen, teeboss_red said: “I swear I’m trying to under this speech wetin popcorn do for 60billion I no hear am well .”
dharmzy_wrote: “Person no fit chop corn in peace again.”
While lumberjack_interiors said: “Agbado is global now..”
Nicki Minaj after enduring all forms of shades from Nigerians, appeared to have a rethink on her post and later deleted it.
