May Edochie, first wife of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie stirred reactions in the online community after she recently addressed his husband’s second wife saga.
She took to Instagram and made it clear that polygamy is strange to her, insisting she won’t be cowed into accepting her husband’s decision to take a second wife.
The post also saw the mother of four mentioning how God blessed her with a beautiful family and a jointly built mansion with her husband.

She also said life is made of tough choices that must be confronted with courage and confidence.
May said in part, “Life is made up of an infinite amount of choices. Most decisions might be tough to make, but whenever we confront our options with courage and confidence, we should equally be open to the paths of our own design”
After the post surfaced online, many netizens trooped to the comment section to lend her their support.
Nollywood thespian Uche Ogbodo wrote, “God is your Strength May ❤️❤️❤️ Keep Being Strong & Beautiful.”
Another Instagram user, dudes_n_damzels added, “Well said! Polygamy is against the Christian belief and if it wasn’t your choice or you were not preinformed before the extramarital affairs, then you must not be cajoled to accept it. May God continue to strengthen you. Amen.”
