Mercy Aigbe in a post on her Instagram page, warned the electoral body against destroying the trust Nigerians have in the commission

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has joined the calls from different quarters for Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remain an unbiased umpire in Nigeria’s electoral process.
The movie star gave the advice via a social media post, where she warned the electoral body against destroying the trust the people have in them.
Mercy also noted that all Nigerians want is a better country, not impending chaos. Speaking In Yoruba language, she sternly warned INEC not to take them for granted and do what is right.
She wrote: “All we want is a Better Nigeria!!!!!!!! Enough is Enough! @inecnigeria e je ki ori yin pe oh!!”
In another post, the controversial thespian wondered why many ex-governors are the ones going to the senate.
“What I don’t understand is all these Ex-Governors going back to Senate! Is government their inheritance??? What is it? Abeg we want fresh minds!!! I think a policy should be put in place to ban all ex-governors from running for office again jare! All of them kuku just go there for their selfish interest! Enough already!” Mercy further wrote.

After her post made the rounds on social media, Nigerians took to the comment section to lambast her and asked her to stop the difference between INEC’s action and her decision to snatch another woman’s husband.
An IG user @hass_benson wrote: “Coming from someone that her own head is not correct.”
Another internet user, @morenike__xx sais: “Who be this werey for your eye e be like say na husband them dey sn*tch for here.”
@happinesstommey added: “Which of this yeye celebrity Dey knack inec chairman?? Show yourself we have a message for him and his generation.”
Another netizen, @ms_alesh said: “Who be dis na husband you sabi sn*tchif e sure for you use your voice like aunty Iyabo.”
While @jerry_hair1 wrote: “I don tire for this rogbodiyan jare, make dem announce wetin dey wan announce make everything go back to normal.”
