Kwam 1 despite knowing Davido recently released an album titled “Timeless” gave his upcoming 10-track album the same name

Veteran Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, better known as Kwam 1 has incurred the wrath of some fans of popular Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, a.k.a Davido after naming his upcoming 10-track album, ‘Timeless”.
Prior to this development, Davido, after taking a seven-month break from music to mourn his late son, Ifeanyin, announced the release of his new album also titled “Timeless” on March 31.
A section of Davido’s fan base after learning about the Fuji maestro’s action, accused him of plagiarising, while few others claimed he was trying to benefit from the popularity of the Afrobeats singer.

Other Nigerians who aired their views about the news on Instagram, slammed the veteran musician and described what he did as a theft of intellectual property.
An IG user, @papilon101wrote: “Agbaya wan use Davido album title promote him album after dem go say wetin old man wey sit down Dey see small pikin wey climb tree no fit see am !”
Another internet year, @auto_lab000 said: ” Agbado’s and plagiarism.”
@ola_dorc added: “Who dey stream this kind person song, I couldn’t believe people will stream it, I tot na cassette this type of people/song dey sell,I don’t even know or understand them, no be yellow bus dey okay his music.”
While __tncg wrote: “Na when K1 die nigeria go settle.”
However, a few Nigerians rose in defence of Kwam1.
A netizen identified as @2dardy on IG wrote: “K1 first called d name of his new album Timeless sometimes last yr b4 Davido,na there Davido got his album title from.”
@boluloves also said: “We are here for the living legend !!! Good times.”
