Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, famously known as Blackface, has accused Burna Boy of song theft, a claim he serially makes against other artistes, especially his former band member, Tuface.

Blackface is believed to have co-written ‘African Queen’ with Tuface, a song that became Tuface’s biggest solo hit.

Blackface has not been happy with Tuface for the release of the ‘African Queen,’ and tried to make his own but could not be impacful chiefly because Tuface’s ‘African Queen’ had already taken over the music space.

But Tuface is not the only person that has stolen Blackface song, according to the controversial singer. Wizkid also stole his song, ‘Ojuelegba.’ And more recently, Blackface has accused Burna Boy of stealing his song, Twist and Turn, to make the song – Ginger.

For many, Blackface is only making spurious allegations.

@QueenAmaka tweeted: “How can you accuse someone of stealing your songs yet the ones you sang hasn’t been heard? Blackface when will you stop all this? You’re shaming me.”

@AsiwajuLerry said: “Blackface laptop no get password? Na every time dem Dey steal him song?”

@Mbahdeyforyou said: “Everyday them dey steal your song, una no get security for house? Even our national anthem, dey steal am from blackface.”

@AdetunbiSadiq tweeted: “Blackface looking for Burna boy after burna broke his gate, went into his room, enter his laptop and stole the hit song he is about releasing in 2023.”

@fuckusername also tweeted: “Blackface why are you so careless? Always forgetting your song outside, ahan.”
