Cardi B recently got to the 100 million followers mark on Instagram, making social media history since releasing her debut album in 2018

Nigerians have applauded American rapper and songwriter, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, better known as Cardi B after singing Timaya’s hit song ‘I Can’t Kill My Self’ in a flawless manner.
To the majority of those who commented, it is also proof that Nigerian music is fast gaining ground on the international scene, as many foreign artistes now identify with such songs.
In a video that has since gone viral, Cardi B, who has been nicknamed Chioma B by Nigerians, was seen vibing to the hit song which was released by Timaya in 2019.
Many of her fans in the country who saw the video were impressed with her rendition, as they wondered how she was able to perfectly deliver the song despite its local content.

After the video surfaced on social media, a lot of the members of the online community who commented praised her with some suggesting she has always loved the song.
A netizen identified as zeenee_official wrote, “She don sing am again she too like this song when she been come show for Nigeria na dis song she sing till she go.”
Another Instagram user, marachukwu5 said, “Cardi B, just have to love her mennn❤️❤️”
2iceastall added, “Since when she left naija, she never remain the same naija blood dey there.”
While _oba10 also wrote, “Loool Cardi b is really Nigerian cos this is what a normal Nigerian do when eating food they like.”
Meanwhile, Cardi B hits 100 million followers on Instagram and made social media history since releasing her debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ in 2018.
As confirmed by her updates on Instagram, the rapper is the fastest female singer to reach the 100 million followers milestone on Instagram.
