Nigerians are debating how to hold the #EndSARS memorial on October 20, whether to assemble at the scene of the Lekki killings, which is Lekki Tollgate, or hold it online to avoid giving happy trigger security forces an opportunity to fell more youths.

The #EndSARS protest, which rocked the country last year, was violently suppressed with the killings of protesters at the Lekki Tollgate.

For convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, the memorial of the Lekki killings should be marked at the scene of the killings.

He said: “Let’s us drop in at #LekkiTollGate on October 20 2021 as a memorial for the victims of @MBuhari regime’s murderous legacy and to remind all the criminal rulers in this land that ‘there will be a  #revolution and that the #revolution will not be televised’ #BuhariMustGo #EndSARS,” he said.

He was countered by @dymegyjoe who said: “Brain rather than brawl would be more appropriate. Let’s converge online to deliberate on the future of the country. Dead man no fit fight o.”

@Harkinolar3 added: “As much as people would love to be there, but I think it’s so scary sir.”

@KennyreLkenny1 suggested: “I will suggest all attendees write their names down so that we can actually identify those who will go missing after the fulanised Nigerian military and police finished with them.”
