Nigerian Idol, the singing competition organized by MultiChoice Nigeria is set to commence in February 2022

Organizers of Nigerian Idol, MultiChoice Nigeria, have announced that the 7th edition of the singing competition will return to TV screens in February 2022
This was disclosed on Saturday by the Executive Head, Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice Nigeria, Busola Tejumola.
She said the 7th season of the TV singing reality show will begin with an online audition on Sunday, November 14, and close on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Tejumola advised interested contestants to upload a 60-second video of themselves singing and send it to www. Africa magic. tv
She also added that the age bracket of intending contestants must be between 16 and 30 years of age and that it will be sponsored by BIGI
The show will be aired on DStv and GOtv screens in February 2022, after successful applicants have been screened and picked by judges.
“MultiChoice remains committed to promoting and giving young music talents in Nigeria a platform to shine and actualize their dreams.
“Season 7 promises to be even bigger and more entertaining, so if you believe you have what it takes to be the next Nigerian Idol, be a part of the auditions starting on November 14,” Tejumola said.
Nigerian Idol is the local version of the Idol series franchise, the 6th edition was won by Kingdom Kroseide, who emerged as the winner on July 11, 2021.
