Nigerian embassy in Ukraine says citizens who wish to relocate from the conflict zone, should do so by private arrangements.

As Ukraine and Russia bomb each other in an escalating invasion, all commercial flights have been cancelled in Ukraine.

Many countries, including India, have assured their nationals that alternative routes are being explored to evacuate them from the conflict-hit country.

But the Nigerian embassy in Ukraine says Nigerians who wish to leave the conflict zone, should make their private arrangements to leave.

The Nigerian Embassy also asked Nigerian citizens residing in the East European country to remain calm and take responsibility for their personal security and safety.
