Nigeria now has 139 confirmed cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced four new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.

The agency said late Tuesday on Twitter that of the four new cases, three are in the FCT while one is in Lagos.

“Four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 3 in the FCT and 1 in Lagos.

“As at 08:00 pm 31st March there are 139 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths,” it said.

There are now 28 confirmed cases of the virus in the FCT and 82 in Lagos.
