Nigeria got the only goal of the game in the 36th minute after Opa Sangante put the ball inside his net

Super Eagles of Nigeria edge past Guinea Bissau in a final Group A game played at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, on Monday night .
The only goal of the night came in the 36th minute when Guinea Bissau’s Opa Sangante put the ball inside his net from a cross from Moses Simeon.
Both sides had goals ruled out in the second half for offside, while Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen also had an effort disallowed for handball.

Nigeria held on to the 1-0 lead and qualified for the rounds of 16, after coming second behind Equatorial Guinea who beat hosts, Cote d’Ivoire 4-0 in the other game.
Super Eagles will now face the second-placed side from Group C, which will be either Senegal, Guinea or Cameroon, on Saturday.
