The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has approved and endorsed its president, Amaju Pinnick, to vie for any elective position.
Recall that nominations are now open for electoral positions into the executive committee of the Confederation of Africa (CAF).
Pinnick is in the current CAF board that came into office in March 2017.
Another election is due to hold on March 12, 2021 in Rabat, Morocco.
It is not clear if Pinnick will take a shot at the presidency, but the endorsement offered him by the NFF left him to take any position that he deemed appropriate.
Already, two candidates have emerged from Tunisia for the post of president while the incumbent has remained silence on whether he would like to renew his mandate.
The two candidates from Tunisia are FIFA Council member, Tarek Bouchamaoui, and Wadie Jary, the current head of Tunisia Football Federation.
