Nantes winger, Moses Simon is the latest of the Super Eagles players being courted by one of the English Premier League (EPL) clubs, Newcastle.
The Maggies are ready to hand the Nigerian forward who currently plies his trade in France, a £100,000-a-week contract to join them in the summer.
According to OwnGoalNigeria, the Premier League side who made a series of notable signings during the January window, have now made Moses Simon their top priority ahead of next season.

The Super Eagles star is rated to be worth around £20million in transfer fees and Newcastle will have to cough out that if they want his services in the summer.
But Newcastle are not deterred by the money involved in the deal, as they are very eager to bring in the striker.
Nantes will also be ready to do business if the price is right, though they block him from moving to another Premier League club, Leeds United in the January window.
The 26-year-old, who impressed for Nigeria at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, will be joining other Super Eagles stars such as Samuel Kanu and Maduka Okoye who joined EPL in January if he agrees to the move.
Moses Simon has scored two times and provided six assists in the French topflight this season.
