Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, is set to make a return to the Premier League (PL) with Nottingham Forest after his club, Leicester City were relegated to the second-tier division of the English league last season.
This was made known on Sunday by Italian journalist and football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on his Twitter handle.
According to him, Ndidi, who is a top target of Forest, has already agreed terms with the PL outfit, although both clubs are yet to agree on a fee.

Speaking via his social media page, Romano tweeted: “EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest set to bid for Wilfred Ndidi, proposal expected to be submitted soon for Nigerian DM as he’s top target.
“Understand personal terms have been agreed, and negotiations will now start between clubs. Forest will push to make it happen,”
Ndidi currently plays for the Foxes alongside his compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho in the English Championship.
If the deal with Nottingham Forest sails through, the combative midfielder will join another Nigerian, Taiwo Awoniyi at the Premier League club coached by Steve Cooper.
However, to make the deal a reality, he will have to complete the move on or before, Friday, September 1, when the summer transfer window closes.
