The Managing Director of Nigera Customs Broadcasting Network (NCBN), Mr. Edirin Jerry Wesley, has died of complications from coronavirus(COVID-19).
Sources close to the family said that he died yesterday and has been buried in Abuja in strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
Wesley was the brain behind the establishment of the NCBN in partnership with the Nigeria Customs Service for provision of world class digital TV, radio and online news outlet with plan to revolutionise access to reliable information.
Wesley, a graduate of Engineering, attended several specialized courses on Engineering and Security Intelligence with a vast working experience with reputable multinational organizations such as United African Company (a subsidiary of Unilever) and several others.
In England, he worked with the Home Department with Home land security across Europe.
