Naira Marley signed Mohnad to his record label, Marlian Record, but the duo fell out later

Afrobeats singer, songwriter and record label owner, Azeez Adeshina Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has finally reacted to the news of the death of his colleague, Ifeoluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad.
TheNiche had earlier reported that Mohbad who was formally signed under Marlian Record, a music label owned by Naira Marley died on Tuesday at the age of 27.
His death was announced on the ‘X’ handle of music executive, Ovie who tweeted: “Confirmed. MohBad is dead. Sad, sad day,”
Reacting to the demise of his junior colleague and former signee, the ‘Abracadabra’ crooner, took to his Instagram stories to share a heartbreak emoji.
This is coming after an old video of another Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda, in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo made the rounds online after Mohbad’s death.
In the now viral video, Shmurda alleged that the late singer attempted suicide at some point in his life over issues with his former label.

Apart from this development, since the death of the ‘Ask About Me’ singer, Naira Marley has faced a backlash from Nigerians on social media due to the rift they had months ago.
Prior to the allegation by Shmurda, Mohbad In 2022, had also alleged that Marley ordered his boys to beat him up when he confronted him about his decision to employ another manager to handle his music and business affairs.
In the videos the late singer posted online, he sustained bodily injuries and was admitted to the hospital after the encounter he allegedly had with men said to be loyalists of Marley.
