Singer, Naira Marley, supports the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), for its fight against drug abuse.
The singer, made this known during his courtesy visit to the Headquarters of the National Drug Agency in Abuja on Thursday.
His declaration was shared on the official X (formerly) Twitter handle of the agency with photos of the Marlian boss with chairman/chief executive officer Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) and others.
In the second frame, the “Soapy” crooner was flanked by the Agency’s chairman and its Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi with other members of the Marlian team on both sides.
But Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, says it is embarrassing for the NDLEA to bring on board Naira Marley in its fight against drug abuse.
She wrote: “I don’t involve myself in bullshit, especially other people’s bullshit…This I must say is the biggest embarrassment from any government agency/drug law enforcement agency. I wld like to say more but I’ll wait for @ndlea_nigeria to pick me up for an interview/Drug test/ or just a chat on why I’m bold enough to call them out!!!! Sirs/ma’s I’M READY. You know my address, I’ll ask you to do it respectfully otherwise we’ll have a PROBLEM.”
