What motivated you to be part of the Miss Ututu pageant?
My motivation is from personal ambition, platform for advocacy, networking and career, personal growth and confidence.
Which pet project are you handling?
Skill acquisition, create opportunity for young scholars and more as the case may be.
Who among your parents was not supportive initially?
None.. Both showed committed interest.
What is the experience like as a beauty queen?
Many people hold a bad opinion about beauty pageants, and beauty Queens and the reason is what I don’t know.. They need to change their minds. So far the experience has being amazing. Being a beauty queen is not just wearing a pretty dress, being crowned there are lots Of responsibilities, jobs and commitments as part of the role – it’s not all glitz and glamour. You must attend all relevant events, including charity events, functions pageants and represent the role full time.
How do you handle male admirers coming for love?
The first golden rule is to keep your love, interest or relationships to yourself. I mean if you’re not here for friendship? Then it’s useless. Let’s be friends, make money together, bring opportunities because I’m more concerned about my growth right now, anything else is secondary i guess.
What challenges do you have as a beauty queen?
The stress, the jealousy, and getting compared to others causes many unhealthy, life-long disorders, that all pageant parents should be aware of.. Especially and of course, building my brand (HARMYZEMPIRE STUDIOS)
What is your future plan after your reign?
Striving further, establishing my business and career to a better and higher standard with the contacts and exposure I have got. Part of my vision is also to contest the Miss World and Miss Beauty crown.
Who is your role model ?
Nancy Iseme of couse, I love that human a lot. I admire her personality and how big she’s grown.
What advice will you give to those aspiring for beauty contest?
They should be beautiful and congenial at the same time.
They should have a purpose and a reason of participating in a pageant. They should be well spoken and have a rational outlook to social issues. Also should be confident, have a positive aura and an inspiring personality.
They should stop comparing yourself to other girls
Do you have regrets so far?
No…I’m enjoying the whole Miss Ututu experience. I’ve learnt a lot from it, the opportunity it brings, the confidence and the organizers are so amazing as well. So far I have no regrets.
If you meet President Bola Tinubu now, what will you tell them?
I will tell him that he has to do better, as it is right now majority of Nigerians have given up on his regime, I’m sorry to say this. But I believe Mr President can do better. Nigerians thought that they will no longer experience what they passed through President Buhari but things seem to be harder now for Nigerians. The president must rise to this challenge.
Is your boyfriend feeling intimidated with your position as a beauty queen?
No….He is one of the reasons I’m here today, he has been my support system from the beginning. His encouragement, support, prayers and everything has kept me going even up till date.
