Music artiste, Omolayo Iyanoluwa Olamide, popularly known as Wadude, has added a creative work to the burgeoning Nigerian music industry with his just released single, Gemini Babe.
The newest single, Gemini Babe, is coming barely a few days after dropping his wave-making song, ‘Expensive Love which featured Bella Shmurda.
Gemini Babe was released alongside a signed deal with Mr. Eazi and the team at Empawa.
The distribution deal by the two which was signed in August will see Wadude’s songs make their way into new markets, and more playlists, and propel the budding artiste’s musical career to new heights.
For Wadude, music is not just an escape, but a way of self-expression, “I am always excited when I hear people listening to my songs or see my music forming the rhythm to the day of my fans,” he said.
Also, Wadude while commending the deal with Empawa said: “A grateful heart is the beginning of greatness and I am super excited to be part of Empawa.”
The singer, who is also a songwriter, grew up in Iyanaoworo, Lagos state. He started his musical journey professionally in 2021 with the release of his hit song, ‘Zanzibar’ which according to the artists dominated the playlists of fans across the world with next to zero promotion.
The unique Nigerian talented artist, had before releasing Expensive Love and Gemini Babe, made his debut Ep titled Last Dude and a single titled ‘On the Low‘
Wadude will be surfacing this summer with his two New Singles, ‘On the Low, and Gemini Babe’
The Yoruba-born artiste is set to make his way from humble beginning to the limelight.
